  3. I wrote these shareware ($8 each) external packages because 4D was just too slow at these things, or in some cases just couldn't do them.

  5. They may not all be perfect and coated with kevlar, but I haven't run into too many problems (yet).

  9. For the one time fee, you will receive all future upgrades of the shareware packages you pay to register, and will receive registration numbers to get rid of those annoying messages in the lower right hand corner.

  11. You will also receive quarterly MikePack newsletters.

  13. When upgrades are made available on Compuserve, or the internet, download them and update your applications.  From this version ( 1.75 ) forward, a preferences file keeps your registration numbers for you.
  14. All future upgrades will not require you to type in your registration codes again!

  16. Have fun using these externals, but if they do any damage in any way, directly or indirectly, it's your problem, not mine.  I make no warranties or guarantees of any kind to their functionality or consistency.  You're getting them "As Is".

  18. In other words, use at your own risk and don't complain to me if you lose your customers, data, mind or whatever.

  20. This is not to say I expect any problems, but I don't want to hear from lawyers if there are!

  22. You are free to re-distribute the packages in their shareware form,  --NOT-- registered, as long as you distribute the entire package as you received it.

  29. This demo is meant to give you an idea of how to use the code.  The documentation that accompanied this program is the "official" document, however, and all the routines will be fully described therein.

  31. I make no promises, implied or otherwise, as to the frequency of updates or bug fixes. I do this in my "spare" time (which is short), so I'll do my best to introduce new routines and fix old ones, but I can't 
  32. promise on the timing.
